X-ELIO expands renewable portfolio in Japan

X-ELIO, a global leader in renewable energy, has celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its 14 MW solar plant in Ube, Japan. Located in Yamaguchi prefecture, the Funaki solar plant is set to produce 17,245.72 MWh of clean energy annually. This underscores X-ELIO’s commitment to driving Japan’s transition to renewable energy and meeting the country’s 2050 net-zero targets. This project adds to X-ELIO’s successful portfolio of 379 MW of solar power plants already operational in Japan, with an additional 164 MW of solar and BESS projects in development. In Funaki, X-ELIO has also donated emergency materials to the Community Promotion Council.
