India’s Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) secured an EPC contract for a 2 GW solar project from Sunbreeze Renewables Nine Pvt Ltd, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Jindal Renewables. The project, located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, utilized advanced technologies to enhance energy efficiency and maximize generation. WRTL managed the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of the project, delivering clean energy to the designated Point of Injection (POI). Jindal Renewables, currently developing 3 GW of renewable assets, aimed to achieve 12 GW of renewable energy assets, storage facilities, and green hydrogen production by 2030.
