Serentica chooses Waaree modules

Waaree Energies Ltd., India’s largest solar PV module manufacturer with an installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023 (CRISIL Report), has received a contract from Serentica Renewables India Private Limited for a 900 MW module supply deal for a project in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This project, expected to be one of India’s largest solar power plants, will use Waaree’s Elite Series N Type Topcon BiN-03-680 to 690Wp GTG Bifacial modules. According to the company, delivery of these Top-Con bifacial modules is scheduled from August 2024 to February 2025. Waaree will manage the manufacturing, testing, packing, and transportation of the modules, ensuring quality standards and timely execution. This project aims to increase the region’s renewable energy capacity.
