ACCIONA selects Waaree for solar EPC

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has secured the EPC contract for ACCIONA Energy subsidiary Juna Renewable Energy Private Limited’s 412.5 MWp/335 MW PV project in Rajasthan. The utility-scale solar plant in Kawani Village, Bikaner district, will feature bifacial solar modules from Waaree Energies Limited, mounted on horizontal single-axis trackers to enhance light absorption and energy yield. As per the company, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited will oversee design engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The scope also includes establishing a 33/220 kV plant substation, power transformers, and advanced module cleaning robots to support efficient operations throughout the project’s lifecycle.
