India-based Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) secured a contract for a 41.6 MW solar project in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. The project is valued at INR 146.77 crore (~$17.38 million). According to the company’s exchange filing, the project is set to be completed in the financial year 2025-26. The project will function as an independent power production (IPP) unit, contributing to the region’s solar energy capacity.
