India-based Waaree Energies Ltd. has secured an order to supply up to 600 MW of solar PV modules to a leading renewable power project developer, the company announced. According to Waaree, the deliveries will commence in November 2024 and conclude by Q4 FY 2025-26. The company, a key player in India’s solar industry, boasts a total installed PV manufacturing capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023. Its operations span five manufacturing units, including facilities in Surat, Tumb, Nandigram, Chikhli (all in Gujarat), and Noida, Uttar Pradesh, scaling its renewable energy adoption in India.
