Voltalia surpasses revised 2.8 GW renewable energy milestone

Voltalia has surpassed its 2023 targets, with total capacity now at 2.85 GW, exceeding the revised goal of 2.8 GW. The initial capacity in operation target of 2.3 GW has been surpassed, reaching 2.37 GW. Power plants in operation grew from 1,571 to 2,370 MW, reducing under-construction capacity from 1,022 MW in 2022 to 480 MW in 2023. Solar technology constitutes 66% of Voltalia’s portfolio. Additionally, the company acquired 96.2 MW set to be operational in 2023 and sold 91.6 MW in operation.
