Valta Energy and Black Bear Energy power Torrance warehouse

Valta Energy and Black Bear Energy have completed a 1.7 MW rooftop solar array on an Ares Management warehouse in Torrance, CA. The facility, part of the FiT program, is fully leased and situated in the South Bay industrial market. Operational since 2013, the FiT initiative offers predetermined tariff rates for solar deployment over 20 years. Constructed by Valta Energy and facilitated by Black Bear Energy, the system will generate 2,963,023 kWh annually, providing renewable electricity to the local gridequivalent to powering 202 homes annually.
