TÜV Rheinland introduced its Traceability Service for PV modules at Intersolar, booth A5.374. This service allows project developers, purchasers, and investors to trace the documentation of their PV modules’ supply chain, enhancing quality assurance and transparency. The three-step approach includes ISO 9001 compliance, evaluation of management processes, and a comprehensive review of the traceability chain. This service addresses the rapid growth of the PV industry and the importance of ESG issues. TÜV Rheinland audited over 70 factories from seven of the world’s largest PV module manufacturers. The service aims to establish traceability management requirements as a standard in the PV industry.
