TrinaTracker hosted a webinar on November 27, unveiling a white paper on its SuperTrack technology. This system is anticipated to optimize solar plant performance in complex terrain and low-light conditions. According to TrinaTracker, tests in China and Spain show the Smart Control System increases annual power generation by 2% to 4%. Gains are reported to exceed 10% in cloudy and rainy weather. The technology uses advanced algorithms to minimize shading and improve efficiency. To address rising demand, TrinaTracker introduced a cloud platform for remote monitoring and parameter adjustments. This innovation helps reduce labor costs and fault-resolution times. Wood Mackenzie noted growing demand for smart tracking in mid-to-high latitudes and low-light regions. It enhances energy generation during morning and evening low-light periods when electricity prices peak.
