Trina Solar achieves CFP certification for modules

Trina Solar Co., Ltd. has received Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) Verification for its entire range of n-type modules from UL Solutions. This certification, based on ISO 14067 standards, assesses carbon emissions throughout the product lifecycle, including energy management and supply chain practices. The certified modules include Trina Solar’s Vertex N 720W and 625W series, as well as Vertex S+ modules. The CFP verification reveals a potential carbon footprint as low as 400 kg/kW for finished products. The company claims that the Vertex N 625W module is the first medium-format n-type module to achieve this certification.
