Trina Solar is supplying its 210mm Vertex high-power modules to 500 MW PV power station under construction in Gobi, northwestern China. Half the project is complete, with an anticipated annual output of 85.5 million GWh upon grid connection, reducing CO2 emissions by 840,000 tons yearly. The region receives ample sunlight, averaging 3,000 to 3,200 hours annually. Trina Solar claims that its 210mm Vertex modules offer high power, efficiency, and reliability, facilitating lower BOS costs, suitable for utility-scale and commercial PV endeavors. Third-party tests affirm the modules’ performance, notably in high-altitude and desert regions.
