MSEDCL awards 124 MW solar project to Tembo Global

Tembo Global Industries Ltd., an India-based company, has secured an INR 595 crore contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The contract is to develop 124 MW (AC) solar power stations. According to Tembo Global, the project is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, under the PM-KUSUM scheme, aimed at solarizing agricultural feeders across Maharashtra. This initiative focuses on meeting the state’s agricultural energy needs through solar power. As per Tembo Global, the contract will commence post-signing and is expected to be completed within 18 months.
