TelOne Zimbabwe, headquartered in Harare, has issued a tender for the installation of 60 kW hybrid solar power plants with lithium-ion battery storage at its exchange sites. The project involves the supply, installation, commissioning, and financing of the solar PV systems at Chitungwiza, Hatfield, Glenview, and the TelOne Centre for Learning (TCFL). The total system capacity includes 60 kW solar PV, 144 kWh battery storage, and 60 kW UPS-rated power. Installations will be ground-mounted at Chitungwiza and Glenview, and roof-mounted at Hatfield and TCFL. The tender specifies technical requirements, including monocrystalline solar modules, lithium-ion battery storage, and three-phase hybrid inverters. The closing date for submission is 06 March 2025, with a pre-bid meeting on 04 March 2025 at TelOne Hatfield Exchange.
