Tanzania Electric Supply Company Ltd (TANESCO), headquartered in Tanzania, has issued an international EPC tender for a 100 MW solar project in Shinyanga. According to TANESCO, the Phase II project is funded by Agence Française de Développement and falls under national public procurement regulations. Interested bidders are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $200 for tender documents and submit a $200,000 tender security. A pre-tender meeting is scheduled on April 16, 2025, at TANESCO’s Shinyanga office, with a site visit the following day. As per TANESCO, bids must be submitted by June 2, 2025 East African Time in the specified format. Late or improperly submitted bids will not be considered, as per the tender.
