The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has floated a RfS for commissioning 3,640 kW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects under RESCO mode in tariff-based competitive bidding. The installations are proposed at 11 institutional locations, namely the University of Delhi, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIEST Shibpur, NITTTR Kolkata, NITTTR Chennai, SVPISTM Coimbatore, RGNAU Amethi, CIIL Mysuru, NIFT Bhubaneswar, and HNBGU Srinagar Garhwal, as per SECI. Developers are required to handle the complete scope covering design, engineering, procurement, erection, testing, commissioning, and operations and maintenance, which also includes insurance, repairs, and replacements. SECI specified that bidders must ensure compliance with net worth and liquidity criteria, secure grid connectivity, and use commercially established photovoltaic technologies with ALMM-listed modules and cells. The tender includes a bid processing fee of INR 6,000. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 6 October, while bid submission deadlines are set between 27 and 30 October 2025.
