FS India Solar Ventures Pvt Ltd, a India-based solar manufacturer, has been awarded a INR 474.10 crore (~$56.6 million) contract by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for supplying 260 MWp domestically manufactured solar PV modules under the CPSU Scheme Tranche III. According to SECI, the modules will be produced using MNRE-approved ALMM-listed suppliers to ensure full domestic content compliance. The supply is scheduled for delivery to the designated site at Badnawar in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. SECI has stated that the contract is part of its effort to enhance India’s solar manufacturing capacity under the Make in India framework.
