The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), headquartered in India, has issued a 500 MW ISTS-connected solar power procurement tender through a tariff-based competitive bidding process. Developers can bid for 50 MW to 250 MW, with selected bidders signing a 25-year PPA with SECI. Bidders must ensure ISTS substation connectivity is operational by June 30, 2025 and comply with CERC’s General Network Access regulations and CEA’s Technical Standards for Grid Connectivity (2007). The tender requires an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 9.42 lakh (~$11,300) per MW and a performance bank guarantee of INR 23.55 lakh (~$28,300) per MW. The bid submission deadline is March 17, 2025 (soft copy) and March 19, 2025 (hard copy), with bids opening on March 20, 2025. SECI will conduct the tender through an e-Reverse Auction (e-RA) and reserves the right to modify or reject non-compliant bids.
