PECO Energy Company, Pennsylvania’s electric and natural gas utility, has scheduled a bidder information webcast on June 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET to outline qualification criteria and PPA terms. PECO had issued the RFP on April 1, 2025, to procure energy, capacity, and solar AECs from new solar projects in Pennsylvania. Eligible projects needed to be at least 5 MW (DC), connected to the PJM grid, and comply with Tier I AEPS standards. PECO planned to enter into 10-year PPAs for up to 25 MW (DC), including partial shares of larger projects. All process documents and key deadlines were available on the RFP website. On May 15, 2025, an updated Illustrative Proposal Form was released with guidance on supplier diversity and local workforce documentation.
