NTPC Renewable Energy invites bids for 600 MW PV project in Karnataka

India’s NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has invited bids on 21 February 2025 for a land and power evacuation package for the development of 600 MW ISTS connected solar PV projects in Tumkur, Karnataka. The tender supported the development of these projects. The bidding document stated that bidders had to secure land, build access roads, do surveys, and carry out geotechnical tests. It also outlined tasks for designing, engineering, and installing substations, transmission lines, and terminal bays. Bidders were required to meet technical and financial criteria and to provide a non-disclosure agreement to ensure confidentiality. Document downloads were available from 04 March 2025 at 10:00 until 18 March 2025 at 17:00, bid submissions closed on 04 April 2025 at 15:00, and technical bids were opened on 04 April 2025 at 15:30.
