The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), an Indian government body, has issued an invitation for bids for the installation of a 90 kW grid-connected rooftop PV system at Raj Bhawan, Nagpur. The tender involves design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of rooftop PV systems with DC optimizers at two sites under a net-metering scheme. The facility has an estimated value of INR 83.44 lakh (~$9,180) and a bid validity period of 180 days. MEDA has specified a percentage-rate contract under the Works category for Solar Power Plants. Bidders are required to submit technical and financial bids separately through an online two-cover system using SBI payment gateway. A non-refundable fee of INR 11,800 (~$130), a INR 500 (~$5.50) processing fee, and an earnest money deposit of INR 83,443 (~$920) were mandated. The project completion period was fixed at 60 days from the award date, with bids scheduled to open at MEDA’s Nagpur office.
