LPAI invites bids for 750 KWP solar project at Kartarpur ICP in Punjab

E-tender has issued by the Land Ports Authority of India(LPAI)under the Ministry of Home Affairs for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 750 KW solar power plant. The project is locatedat the Integrated Check Post(ICP) in Dera Baba Nanak, Punjab. The project comprises a 500 KWP ground-mounted system and a 250 KWP carport installation, along with five years of comprehensive operations and maintenance. Estimated at ₹5.57 crore (~$643263.23), the project demands an Earnest Money Deposit of ₹11.14lakh(~$12865.265), with part submission allowed via bank guarantee. The two-bid tender was published on June 17,2025 with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 24 at LPAI’s New Delhi office. The project has a completion timeline of six months from award and includes a 12-month defect liability period.Only individual firms are allowed to participate, as joint ventures are explicitly disallowed. The deadline for bid submission is July 8,2025 and eligibility bids will be opened on July 9.
