The site was marshy and fell partly within coastal regulation restrictions, requiring the developer to secure environmental approvals and permits.The selected bidder is expected to supply 1,750 million units of power annually under a 25-year PPA, with commissioning required within 10 months of signing. The bidding process is divided into two stages, covering responsiveness checks and financial capability evaluations. Participants must show a minimum free cash flow of INR 700 crore (~$ 79.28 million). RFQ documents are available at INR 10,000 excluding GST, with earnest money and a performance guarantee required. Timelines include 15 days for document purchase and 30 days for bid submission.
