Coal India Limited, headquartered in Kolkata, and RVUNL, based in Jaipur, have invited bids for a 1000 MW AC solar PV project at Pugal in Bikaner. According to RVUNL, the project is part of its 2000 MW Solar Park and will include full EPC delivery and two years of O&M. As per the tender, bidders must procure a minimum of 1.35 GW PV modules, and the plant is required to maintain a 28% CUF. Coal India has stated that expected first-year generation is 2.45 billion units. The tender process is a single-stage, two-part online system, limited to Indian entities. While no bidding fee is required, an Earnest Money Deposit of ₹50 lakh (~ $60,000) is mandatory. Bids must be submitted by May 7, 2025, and will be opened on May 8.
