Central Electronics Limited, which is headquartered in India and manufactures electronic systems, has invited bids for a 200 MW solar module manufacturing line. According to Central Electronics Limited, the project is part of the Make in India initiative and will be located at its Sahibabad facility, Uttar Pradesh. The RFP dated 24 April 2025, has been open for online bids using a two-packet system. Bidders must first submit a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access documents, which have been available since 2 May 2025. As per Central Electronics Limited, the pre-bid meeting was scheduled for 5 May 2025 at Sahibabad. The bid submission deadline is set for 14 May 2025, and bidders are required to pay INR 12,00,000 (~$14,400) via NEFT or RTGS as an Earnest Money Deposit without any exemptions.
