Germany’s Federal Network Agency known as Bundesnetzagentur has announced results for its 1 June 2025 solar tender. The auction covered rooftop systems and noise barriers with a 283MW target. A total of 127 bids were submitted, totaling 274MW. Contracts were awarded to 118 bids with 255MW in capacity. Award values ranged from 6.90ct/kWh to 10.38ct/kWh. The average price was 9.22ct/kWh, slightly above the last round’s 9.10ct/kWh. The maximum permissible rate was 10.40ct/kWh. Most winning projects are in North Rhine-Westphalia (51MW), Brandenburg (47MW), Lower Saxony (33MW), and Hesse (32MW). Bids between 1MW and 20MW were accepted. 79 of the awarded bids were 2MW or less. Nine bids were disqualified. The tender saw broad regional participation despite a slight drop in total bid volume.
