The Republic of Fiji has invited international bids for a 100 kW solar mini-grid with battery storage in Tiliva Village. The project is financed by the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia, which is administered by the Asian Development Bank, headquartered in the Philippines. According to the Department of Energy in Fiji, procurement is being carried out under ADB’s Single Stage: One Envelope procedure for eligible bidders. Interested participants are required to register and obtain bidding documents through Tenderlink before preparing and submitting their proposals for evaluation. A pre-bid meeting was scheduled on 24 September 2025 in Suva, with remote access also permitted. The bid submission deadline has been scheduled for 18 October 2025, with mandatory bid security required. Bids will be opened in Suva immediately after the deadline, with remote participation available for the official process.
