Schletter Group, the global manufacturer of solar mounting systems, has launched a browser-based PV planning tool called Schletter Creator, aiming to improve speed and accuracy. The tool allowed users to plan rooftop systems directly in Google Maps, input real building heights, and receive load calculations tailored to location. It supported nearly all PV modules and included advanced aerodynamic features to reduce ballast. An API interface enabled integration with inverter planning tools. The tool was tested by wholesalers and EPCs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland since December 2024. Feedback was used to improve the tool. It was set to launch in Europe in April 2025, then expand globally.
