ZNShine Solar has presented the 50 MW Patuca Solar Project, outlining its role as module supplier and project partner. The utility-scale project is being developed by Empresa Nacional de Energía Eléctrica (ENEE) with Representaciones Mecánico Eléctricas S.A. (REMESA) as EPC contractor. It was financed through non-recourse debt by the Central Bank of Honduras in December 2024 and is scheduled for commissioning in October 2025. The project uses 12BB PERC monofacial double-glass modules selected for their suitability in high-wind, variable-climate environments. ZNShine Solar emphasized the technical and logistical planning involved in the deployment and shared insights on utility-scale development in Central America.
