Zelestra, a US-based renewable energy developer, has secured $113 million for its 81 MW DC Jasper County Solar Project in Indiana. According to Zelestra, the financing was arranged by Banco Santander and falls under its revised Green Financing Framework, which was validated by DNV and supported by BNP Paribas. The project is expected to begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2025. Zelestra said that the project is backed by a long-term agreement under which Meta will purchase its environmental attributes, one of six such agreements between the two companies across the US. The Jasper project is part of Zelestra’s 1 GW fully contracted portfolio advancing toward construction. As per Zelestra, its broader US pipeline spans nearly 7 GW and includes both solar and battery energy storage system projects.
