Zelestra, a large-scale renewable energy projects have signed a ten-year virtual power purchase agreement (vPPA) with Avery Dennison for renewable energy from its 44 MW DC) Las Rozas solar plant in Seville, Spain. The plant will generate 90 GWh of renewable electricity annually, equivalent to the consumption of 25,000 households, while avoiding 16,290 tons of CO2 emissions per year. This agreement supports Avery Dennison’s goal of reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions by 70% by 2030. Zelestra currently operates 11 renewable energy plants in Spain, totaling 428 MW (DC) capacity, with a project portfolio exceeding 5 GW.
