India-based Waaree Energies, a leading renewable energy company in India, specializes in solar PV module manufacturing has secured an order to supply 180 MW solar modules to a renewable power company. The delivery is scheduled to begin on FY 2025-26, as per a regulatory filing. The company received the Letter of Award for this order on Monday, reflecting its growing presence in the solar module market. Following the announcement, Waaree Energies’ stock price rose by 1.2%, closing at ₹2,635.75 per share on the BSE. The company operates advanced production facilities with a total installed capacity of approximately 13.3 GW, including 1.3 GW from Indosolar, contributing significantly to the global energy transition.
