Paris-headquartered Voltalia signed a PPA with JSC Uzenergosotish for the 526 MW Artemisya hybrid project in Uzbekistan. The 25-year agreement for solar and wind and 15-year term for storage supports the country's energy needs. Construction begins in 2026, aiming to power 2.5 million people and cut 598,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Alongside the PPA, Voltalia secured agreements for the 500 MW/1G Wh Turan Storage project and a 500 kW agrivoltaic pilot in Tashkent, set for commissioning in August 2025, supporting Uzbekistan’s goal of 8 GW renewable capacity by 2026 and 12 GW by 2030.
