Germany-headquartered Voltage Energy has delivered its pre-assembled PV cabling solutions for the first time to a utility-scale solar project in Europe. Voltage Energy supplied cabling for over one-third of a 96.7 MW solar power plant near Würzburg, developed by BELECTRIC GmbH. According to Voltage Energy, the IBEX® harnesses offer faster installation, improved weather resistance, and reduced risks from incorrect connections. Two of the three sections of the project are already grid-connected, while the remaining 15 MW section is nearing commissioning. The plant is expected to produce approximately 105 GWh of electricity annually. Voltage Energy established its European headquarters in Frankfurt am Main in 2024 and has since begun supporting local projects through standardized delivery of tested PV cabling systems.
