Vivant Energy Corporation has acquired a 40% stake valued at PHP 395 million (~ $6.95 million)in the 53.14 MW Samal Solar Power Project in Bataan.The facility is developed by Tigon Power Corporation and operated under Samal Solar Renewable Energy Corporation. The facility, which began commercial operations in August 2025, currently supplies 52 MW of power to Corenergy, Vivant Energy’s retail electricity subsidiary. The partnership was formalized through a ceremony attended by Vivant Energy President and COO Emil Andre Garcia, Tigon Power President and CEO Mayleen Ting, Vivant Corporation CEO Arlo Sarmiento, and Tigon Power Chairman Elon Ting, highlighting the companies’ collaboration in strengthening renewable energy capacity in the Philippines.
