Vernova, Inogen, Tosyalı to develop 1.2 GW solar project in Turkey

Tosyalı, a global green steel producer has signed an agreement with GE Vernova and Inogen for the first 120 MW of Turkey’s 1.2 GW self-consumption solar power plant (SPP) project. The project will use Tosyalı’s locally produced N-Type Topcon 725 W panels under the Tosyalı V-Solar brand. The first phase of the new project is set to become operational in 2025, with full completion expected by 2027. The SPP will be deployed across eight provinces and is expected to generate approximately 50% of Tosyalı’s energy needs. This agreement was announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2025.
