Düsseldorf-based Uniper a European energy company has started building two solar PV projects in Tét and Dunaföldvár, Hungary.The total capacity of the projects is 151 MW. The 61 MW Dunaföldvár project was set to start in Q2 2025. It aims for grid connection by 2026. The 90 MW Tét project was scheduled to begin in Q3 2025. Operations are planned for 2027. The project is expected to supply 92,000 households. EXTOR Energy Zrt. was awarded the construction contract. Spie Hungaria Kft. will manage the grid connection in Dunaföldvár. Maxicontech Kft. will handle the grid connection in Tét. Uniper also launched solar park construction in Germany and the UK. The company planned to develop up to 10 GW of ready-to-build renewable capacity by 2030. This includes multiple European countries.
