UGE, a distributed solar developer based in New York, has reached Notice to Proceed for a 1.3 MW rooftop project in Medford. The system is planned atop the 130,000 square-foot Medford Logistics Center, developed by long-term partner Wildflower LTD. T-Mobile is the anchor off-taker under an existing agreement supporting its renewable energy goals. Heliene modules with US-made cells will be used to qualify for the Domestic Content Adder, as per UGE. With permits, interconnection, and financing in place, construction is scheduled to begin soon. The project is expected to power around 200 homes annually and offset nearly 1,500 metric tons of CO₂. It is the eighth UGE-Wildflower collaboration, expanding UGE’s operating portfolio to 25 MW.
