Trinasolar International Systems Business Unit (ISBU), the project development arm of Trinasolar Co., Ltd., signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with AdventEnergy for the 49.9 MW AC Mabini Solar Project in Brgy. The agreement was signed during the signing ceremony held on September 26, attended by executives from both Trinasolar and AdventEnergy. The Mabini Solar Project, which received Green Lane Certification from the Philippine Board of Investments, representsTrinasolar ISBU’s first greenfield solar development in the Philippines. The facility is scheduled to begin commercial operations by the third quarter of 2026 and is projected to generate 110.84 GWh of electricity in its first year. This output is estimated to be comparable to the average annual demand of more than 24,000 households. The project is also expected to avoid 76,549 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, contributing to the Philippines’ renewable energy targets and regional grid supply.
