Treaty Oak commences construction on 100 MW PV project in Arkansas

Austin-headquartered Treaty Oak Clean Energy and local officials started construction on the 100 MW Redfield Solar Project in Grant County, Arkansas. Covering 1,033 acres, the project is designed to supply power to 18,000 homes and create around 200 construction jobs. It has a long-term power purchase agreement and is scheduled to begin operations in early 2026The project is backed by $123 million in financing from CIBC, Crédit Agricole CIB, and ING Capital LLC. It features Nextracker’s advanced solar tracking technology. Over its lifespan, it is expected to generate more than $10 million in local tax revenue and provide two to three permanent jobs for maintenance and operations. Materials for the project come from Arkansas suppliers, including steel from US Steel’s Big River Steel Mill and components from Premier PV. Primoris Services Corporation is leading construction, with high-voltage services provided by Dashiell Corp.
