Greece-headquartered TERNA ENERGY is developing a 130 MW photovoltaic plant in Vratitsa, Burgas, Bulgaria. The project, built by TERNA S.A., includes the design, installation, and grid connection works, along with a new 33/110 kV substation. It is part of a collaboration between TERNA ENERGY, owned by Masdar, and GEK TERNA. The plant is expected to connect to Bulgaria’s electricity grid by the end of 2026. TERNA ENERGY already operates two wind farms in Bulgaria with a total capacity of 30 MW.
