Tanmiah Food Company, Middle East’s provider of Poultry, protein, feed and restaurants, has signed an agreement with Emerge, a joint venture between Masdar and EDF Group in Riyadh. Emerge planned to develop a 3 MW solar power plant at Tanmiah’s Haradh facility. The system was expected to supply 35% of the site’s electricity and reduce over 3,850 tons of CO₂ annually. Emerge agreed to provide a turnkey solution covering financing, design, construction, operations, and maintenance for 25 years. The project aligned with Vision 2030 renewable energy targets. It marked Emerge’s second project in the GCC agricultural sector offering solar without upfront cost.
