Troy Solar I project gets PTO as Syncarpha expands in Maine

Syncarpha Capital has received Permission to Operate for Troy Solar I recently, expanding its community solar portfolio in Maine under Central Maine Power’s NEB program.

Syncarpha Capital, a New York-based developer of solar and storage projects, has received Permission to Operate for Troy Solar I recently. According to Syncarpha Capital, the project is located on Bangor Road in Troy, Maine, and includes a 1,472.25 kW DC / 995 kW AC solar array. The facility is expected to generate 1.8 million kWh of electricity annually and power approximately 200 homes. The project isanticipated to offset more than 1,200 metric tons of carbon emissions each year. Syncarpha said this is its seventh operational community solar project in Maine. The project operates under Maine’s Net Energy Billing Program, allowing Central Maine Power customers to subscribe without upfront cost and receive discounted solar credits on their utility bills.
