SunRocket Capital has closed financing for a 1.93 MW DC ground-mount community solar project in Sidney, Maine, marking its fifth collaboration with Novel Energy Solutions. This recent project, which has qualified for Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), brings SunRocket's total funding for Novel’s community solar portfolio to over $28.8 million across Maine and Minnesota. The previous projects include Swartley, Philbrick, Lebanon in Maine, and Hilde in Minnesota, with another Minnesota project expected to be added to its assets,this month. The financing ensures critical support as the projects move from construction to operational phases. It also highlights SunRocket Capital’s growing role in structured finance for community solar across the undeserved regions in Northeast and Midwest.
