AESOLAR, headquartered in Germany, has developed a 1.022 MW solar project in Smederevska Palanka, Serbia, in collaboration with SPICEnergy and Banca Intesa. SPICEnergy has provided technical expertise and project management while Banca Intesa has supported the initiative through financial backing. The installation has 2,222 AE Aurora AE460MD-120 mono half-cut panels, ensuring high efficiency and long-term reliability. It generates approximately 1.49 GWh of clean energy annually, supplying renewable electricity to the local community. The project has prevented over 1,200 tons of CO₂ emissions each year, supporting Serbia’s net-zero target for 2050. Recognized with the "Best Team in Sustainability" award from Financecommunity, the initiative is anticipated to strengthen regional energy independence.
