US-based Keysight Technologies has signed its maiden virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with US-based energy provider and subsidiary of Southern Company, Southern Power. This VPPA covers a 39 MW portion of the Millers Branch Solar portfolio in Texas. The renewable energy credits (REC) from this agreement will offset Keysight’s complete electricity consumption in the US and Canada. This initiative also aligns with Keysight’s sustainability goals and its commitment to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by the end of FY 2040.
