Spain-based Solaria has reached a financing agreement worth up to €93.5 million (~$106.6 million) with Banco Sabadell to develop the 175 MW Oliva Solar project in Guadalajara, Spain. The financing is structured as syndicated project finance and remains subject to due diligence and final risk committee approval. The solar project is linked to the construction of a 70 MW data center based on a self-consumption energy model. Solaria stated that the initiative will help power approximately 84,000 Spanish households annually using 100% renewable energy. The project supports both grid-connected generation and localized digital infrastructure, reinforcing Solaria’s focus on renewable power integration into data-driven operations. Banco Sabadell’s participation marks continued financial support for Solaria’s energy infrastructure developments.
