SolarBK, a Vietnam-based solar energy company engaged in R&D, manufacturing, EPC, and O&M services, has partnered with Banpu NEXT, a Thailand-headquartered provider of clean and net-zero energy solutions, and Amata VN Public Company Limited, a Vietnam-based industrial park developer, to jointly develop rooftop solar projects totaling 227 megawatts across Amata City Halong and Amata City Long Thanh. According to SolarBK, implementation of the projects is scheduled to begin in early 2026 to enhance renewable energy adoption in industrial zones. The collaboration builds upon SolarBK and Banpu NEXT’s existing cooperation in Vietnam’s commercial and industrial market, now expanded with Amata VN’s participation. As per Banpu NEXT, the initiative supports Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII and aims to strengthen energy security while promoting low-carbon industrial growth.
