SolarBank Corporation, a Canada-based renewable energy company, is progressing with its 5.4 MW DC Boyle Rd ground-mount solar project in upstate New York. The company secured a positive interconnection determination through the Coordinated Electric System Interconnection Review (CESIR), allowing it to move forward with permitting. The project is expected to qualify for incentives under NYSERDA’s NY-Sun Program. Construction will commence once permits and financing are secured, with the site operating as a community solar installation upon completion. Solar Simplified will handle customer acquisition, enrollment, and administration to ensure full subscription and revenue management.
