According to US-based Staten Solar, US has added nearly 50 GW of solar capacity in 2024, prompting wider use of mounting systems designed for different terrains and conditions. Installations expanded across rooftops, open land, and floating platforms, where features like adjustable tilt angles and tool-assisted assembly were increasingly applied to meet structural and environmental demands. Lighter, modular designs contributed to safer handling and shorter installation timelines. As solar projects varied more in size and setting, the choice of racking systems played a key role in addressing site-specific needs and maintaining construction efficiency.
